FTIR process analysis system – Model AS500 - NEW CONCEPT

The FTIR AS 500 System is especially designed for supporting the TOPNIR/FTIR Process Application.

Several definitive benefits over the other existing systems have been considered in this development:

  • System and Analyzer processing, Model Database Interfacing and Data Interchanges integrated in the same Control Unit for unified architecture.

  • Architecture designed around PC hardware and Windows ™ operating system.

  • Two levels of Data Interchanges to Customer DCS (CDCS) and Customer Maintenance Acquisition System (CMAS).

  • Digital temperature control of the optical cell operated by ATEX heating resistance to accept most severe climatic conditions. No Vortex cooler requiring huge instruments air consumption.

  • System integrates up to 32 channels featuring independent optical flow cell when sample segregation is required.

  • Sample Pre Conditioning systems designed for white,yellow and black products to be installed on sample fast loops.

  • Flushing & Auto-Validation systems feature Piston Floating Cylinders for full integrity in option.

  • The on-line process NIR analyser, comprising the FTIR fiber optic based spectrometer(s), the PC and the Utilities Controller (UC), is located in the Shelter house where there is no hydrocarbon products as all the analyses are carried out externally to the shelter in NIR cells linked to the NIR process Analyzer through fiber optic cables

    Sampling Pre Conditioning systems are provided to ensure integrity of samples flowing from sample take off to the NIR cell

  • Connection through ethernet, fiber optics available for remote diagnosis and maintenance.
